Garmin's Signal VHF 400 Marine VHF Radio with Built-in AIS Transponder

Raymarine Axiom 2

It’s a boating industry first – minimal helm space with a 3.5-inch color touchscreen and edge-to-edge glass

Garmin's Signal VHF 400 Marine VHF Radio comes with an integrated Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder that sends your vessel’s name, position, course, and speed to other nearby AIS-equipped boats.

The Signal VHF 400 is designed for reliable communication on the water. It reduces unwanted radio noise with automated squelch and adaptive noise cancellation, so you get clear audio whether you’re sending or receiving messages.

You can automatically record up to 3 minutes of audio from any active channel, and the radio can record audio from 3 channels at once. Advanced watch modes let you listen to up to six VHF channels simultaneously.

In an emergency, you can use the distress button to send important information to nearby vessels with Class D Digital Selective Calling. You can also make a DSC call to nearby boats right from the AIS plotter screen.

The included fist mic has a loud built-in speaker and adaptive noise cancellation, so you can hear clearly over the engine, wind, and wave noise. We can mount it wherever it works best, even away from the main unit.
