The Bar has been Raised – Good is now Better, Garmin & Lumishore

DECEMBER

With Garmin’s acquisition of Lumishore, good is now better. Access to greater resources like funding, marketing channels, and distribution networks will allow for improved product quality, wider availability and new innovations. Lumishore will fully integrate into Garmin in 2025.

Now, let’s talk about underwater lights and why they are worth it.

Better Fishing at Night

Green LED lights are known to attract fish by serving as bait. Bait fish are attracted to green lights, which attract larger fish. From the boat's surface, these lights also help identify the kind of fish swimming around your boat.

Pleasant Ambiance

Besides enhancing the sight of fish swimming around your boat, underwater LED lights can create a pleasant atmosphere on your boat. These lights emit a soft glow around your boat, and if you opt for the color-changing kind, you can customize the lighting to fit your mood. Plus, white LED lights can repel insects that are usually attracted to boat lights that emit heat.

Safety

The lights also deflect cloudy water's grainy particles, improving navigation safety and the ability to see obstructions and swimmers at night.

Additionally, they illuminate your mooring space, enabling you to walk around the dock safely after dark.

Effective & Efficient

Underwater LED lights are not only cost-effective but also energy-efficient compared to other types of boat lights. They consume minimal power and are built with long-lasting diodes that provide tens of thousands of hours of use. They are also resistant to impact and vibration.

Aside from safety features, Lumishore’s underwater lights are about style and fun. Their lights are designed for owners who demand the highest light output and widest beam angle, setting them apart from other underwater lighting solutions.
